What is OEE?

  • Quality = (Good Products / Total Products Produced) × 100%

For example, if a machine operates for 8 hours out of a planned 10 hours (80% availability), runs at 90% of its ideal speed (90% performance), and produces 95% defect-free products (95% quality), then:

OEE = 80% × 90% × 95% = 68.4%
